The Cameron Interview ITV Defending the Guilty BBC iPlayer. The strange thing about the two shows about David Cameron this week — BBC One’s The Cameron Years and ITV’s alarmingly rheumy The Cameron Interview — is that neither of them was really about Cameron. Both, instead, were about Brexit. The thing is, you can’t really understand Brexit if you don’t try to understand Cameron first. For me, you see, Cameron will always be the guy who took over the Conservative Party in 2005 and whose youth, modernity, Farrow & Ball wallpaper and bike served to obscure just how posh he really was. This, although pages, reams, entire books were written about how posh he was. Somehow, though, nobody got it quite right. Full story
