A 66-year-old Roseto man is charged with killing his ex-girlfriend’s 58-year-old boyfriend in Carbon County, Pennsylvania State Police report. John Anthony Martocci, a former eight-year borough councilman and 2013 mayoral candidate who lives in the 400 block of Liberty Avenue, was charged Wednesday with a single count of criminal homicide, then arrested and held in Carbon County’s jail, police and court records state. He was to be arraigned at 9:30 a.m. Thursday before District Judge Joseph Homanko Sr. Bail is not allowed in homicide cases. Kenneth Knibiehly was shot once in the head at his home in Penn Forest Township, police said. An autopsy was conducted Wednesday and Knibiehly’s death was ruled a homicide, police said. Full story
