Londoners and visitors to the capital have a fantastic opportunity on Good Friday. The story of the Passion ­– from the entry of Jesus into Jerusalem on Palm Sunday to the crucifixion – is to be told again at the heart of the city, in Trafalgar Square. The event attracts around 20,000 people to watch the cast of the Wintershall players bring their unique take on the story to the 21st-century UK. With first-rate actors and scripting, it’s a production that crackles with energy as the story at the heart of the Christian faith is retold for London today.
