Turns out, arrested development isn’t just a brilliant sitcom on Netflix. This week, a group of researchers from the Royal Children’s Hospital in Australia announced they want to expand the period of adolescence , traditionally defined as the ages from 10 to 19, all the way up until a person is 24 years old. That’s right, in the future, people might still be called teenagers even though the word teen is no longer included in their age group. This idea of extending adolescence isn’t exactly new, though.
