Federal officials will be evaluating whether several central Pennsylvania properties can be used as health care facilities if local hospitals run out of resources amid the novel coronavirus outbreak. The United States Army Corps of Engineers recently assembled a field assessment team to consider several south-central Pennsylvania properties that can easily be converted if Pennsylvania sees a need for additional medical services.
