StateraArts is launching a New York City chapter of its Statera Mentorship initiative for women in the arts. In addition to fostering one-on-one engagement between mentors and mentees, everyone in the program has the opportunity to meet other participants at a networking mixer. The duration of each mentorship class is six months, with the program running January–June and July–December. While classes are already underway in Chicago and North Carolina, newly formed chapters, including New York, will start their first class of mentorship pairings on July 1 in the Boston Area, California Central Coast, Dallas/Fort Worth, Ithaca, Iowa, Los Angeles, Louisville, Philadelphia, San Francisco Bay Area, and Southern Texas.
