The State Department inspector general who was fired last month amid an investigation into Secretary of State Mike Pompeo’s conduct will be interviewed Wednesday by lawmakers probing his dismissal. The ousted watchdog, Steve Linick , will appear in a virtual interview before members and staff of the House Committee on Foreign Affairs, the House Committee on Oversight and Reform and the Senate Committee on Foreign Relations, according to an aide working on the investigation.
