On Monday, January 18, armed bandits reportedly attacked a village in Zamfara state, killing 37 persons and inuring many. According to a tweet by Kano based lawyer, Bulma Bukarti, the BBC Hausa reported that the survivors of the attack said the bandits operated for 8 hours, slaughtering their victims. His tweet reads. ”BBC Hausa reports that on Monday bandits killed 37 people in a Zamfara village. Survivors said they operated from 5am-1pm slaughtering their victims.
