There have been calls for an inquiry into leaked emails from the UK ambassador in Washington which deemed the Trump administration "inept". Chairman of the foreign affairs select committee Tom Tugendhat said the leak was "a very serious breach" and whoever was responsible must be prosecuted. "Diplomats must be able to communicate securely," he told the BBC. The Foreign Office said the leak to the Mail on Sunday was "mischievous", but did not deny the accuracy of the memos.
